Summary
- Garcelle announces departure from 'RHOBH' after 5 seasons
- Cites desire to spend more time with family and new projects
- Clashes with former co-star Erika Jayne over 'shitty' comment

In a recent episode of 'Watch What Happens Live', longtime 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' cast member Garcelle Beauvais announced her departure from the show after 5 seasons. When asked if there was anyone from the Beverly Hills cast that could leave to entice her to return, Garcelle quickly named her former co-star Erika Jayne.
Erika's response was less than enthusiastic, saying "I wish you were more interesting, I guess." This prompted a sharp retort from Garcelle, who said "Well, that's a shitty thing to say, Erika."
Garcelle explained that part of her reason for leaving the show was to spend more time with her twin sons, Jax and Jaid, who will be entering their final year of high school. She also mentioned having exciting new projects in development that she wants to focus on.
In an Instagram video announcing her departure, Garcelle expressed gratitude to her fans for their support and said this is not goodbye, but rather "see you later" as she embarks on new endeavors. She recently bumped into fellow 'RHOBH' husbands PK Kemsley and Mauricio Umansky, who asked how she was feeling after leaving the show, to which Garcelle replied she was at a "30" on a scale of 1 to 10.
While Garcelle's 5-year run on 'RHOBH' was "fun", she is now looking forward to a bit more privacy and focusing on the next chapter of her career.
