- The YA film merges romance with competitive gaming on Tubi.
- Production for 'Game On' is set to begin this month.

A new Tubi original film, "Game On," is set to star Sky Katz and Case Walker, alongside veteran voice actor Nolan North. The movie centers on a talented gamer, Casey (Katz), who aims to win her high school's inaugural esports tournament. Her strategy is thrown into disarray when she learns her online nemesis, Theo (Walker), is the new student she's developing a crush on.
Casey decides to maintain her online anonymity, intending to use their burgeoning romance to study Theo's gaming tactics in "Eon Rush" and defeat him from within. However, her calculated plan begins to falter as her feelings become genuine. This film represents a strategic expansion for Tubi into the Young Adult (YA) market.
According to Tubi's Chief Content Officer, Adam Lewinson, "Game On" is a "standout addition" that brings viewers into competitive gaming with an authentic coming-of-age narrative about identity, vulnerability, and connection. The film, written and directed by Jem Garrard, is produced by Blue Ice Pictures and is scheduled to commence production this month. Executive producers include Lance Samuels, Jem Garrard, and Sky Katz.
