The network's strategy is intentionally cautious, focusing on quality over a high volume of content. This is evidenced by the fact that only two Game of Thrones spinoffs have made it to air. "House of the Dragon" is currently preparing for its third season, scheduled for release in 2026, and has already been renewed for a fourth and final season.
Additionally, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," which premiered in January of this year, has demonstrated audience interest in smaller-scale, character-driven narratives within the Westeros universe. Bloys noted that creative fit remains the paramount consideration for any new projects, not an effort to meet content quotas.
