Parker sees these nominations as a collective acknowledgment of the show's success, particularly highlighting the dedication of the crew based in Belfast. He noted that as a first-season show, the strong performance and critical reception, evidenced by the nominations, were particularly meaningful. Parker also made a lighthearted comment about how a shocking early scene was certainly not intended to aid awards prospects.
