She explained that her audition with a Welsh accent was embraced by the production, leading to the incorporation of specific Welsh elements into her character.
Creevy expressed her delight in authentically representing Wales on screen, noting the significance of seeing a Welsh accent featured in television. The script for Black Doves was adapted by writer Joe Barton to include references to Bridgend, making her portrayal feel particularly authentic. She also highlighted the positive inclusion of her fellow cast member Ella Lily Hyland's Irish accent.
In addition to Black Doves, Creevy is set to appear in the upcoming four-part BBC One supernatural drama, The Witch Farm. This series, created by Danny Robins, delves into a real-life haunting experienced by a couple in the Brecon Beacons. Creevy will play Liz Rich, who, along with her husband, claimed to have encountered paranormal activity in their farmhouse starting in 1989.
Black Doves is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 5, 2026. The Witch Farm will begin airing on BBC on November 22, 2026. Creevy, a two-time Bafta Cymru award winner, remains open-minded about the paranormal, a theme explored in her upcoming role and relevant to Danny Robins' podcast, Uncanny.
