Wonderla Holidays is set to unveil India's most futuristic amusement park in Tamil Nadu on December 1, 2025. Located near Illalur village along Old Mahabalipuram Road, the park represents a significant investment of over INR 611 crore, spread across 64.30 acres. The design aims to merge futuristic entertainment concepts with architectural elements inspired by Tamil heritage, promising a unique visitor experience.
The park will boast 43 thrilling rides, including family and kids' attractions, alongside water rides, with a daily capacity for approximately 6,500 visitors. A major highlight is Tanjora, touted as India's first and largest Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster, designed for adventure seekers. Other notable rides include the Spin Mill, claimed to be India's tallest spinning thrill ride at 50 meters, and the Sky Rail monorail.
Beyond rides, the park offers eight dining venues serving regional Tamil cuisine and international options, alongside merchandise inspired by Tamil cinema and local crafts. With climate-responsive features and extensive green cover, the park also anticipates generating over 1,000 jobs. Ticket bookings will be available online and on-site closer to the opening date.
