As of November 4th, 2025, the Mexican regional group Fuerza Regida has secured its 7th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart. Their latest chart-topping single, "Marlboro Rojo," surged from No. 6 to the top spot in the latest tracking week.
This marks the group's second No. 1 single from their 9th studio album, 111XPANTIA. Just four months ago, their song "Por Esos Ojos" also led the Regional Mexican Airplay chart for one week. Fuerza Regida's chart dominance began in 2023, when their collaboration with Grupo Frontera, "Bebe Dame," spent three weeks at No. 1, the group's longest-leading chart-topper to date.
The sole writer of "Marlboro Rojo," Miguel Armando Armenta, better known as Armenta, has now earned his 6th No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart as a songwriter. He has previously contributed to the success of other chart-topping hits by Fuerza Regida and Gabito Ballesteros.
