FSU Football Heir Joins Love Island Villa

Corey Sawyer Jr., whose father was a defensive back for Florida State football in the 1990s, is joining the cast of Love Island USA. He is scheduled to appear in the season's villa in Fiji starting with the episode airing on June 22. As a 'Bombshell,' Sawyer Jr. will enter the existing villa and have the opportunity to choose partners from the female contestants.

Love Island USA is a dating reality series where contestants couple up to avoid elimination. The current season's finale is set to air on July 12. Sawyer Jr., 24, hails from Orlando, Florida, and previously played guard for Eastern Illinois University's basketball team. Viewers can catch his debut on Peacock.
