Kristen Bell Confirms "Frozen 3" in the Works, Shares Script Details

According to Kristen Bell, the voice of Anna in the hit "Frozen" animated movie franchise, the cast of "Frozen 3" will soon begin production on the third installment of the beloved series. While Bell hasn't heard any of the new songs for the upcoming film, she has seen the script and says the development process is well underway.

"That's all I can say. I'm under lock and key," Bell revealed, explaining that the script is still in the early conceptual stages, with the team at Disney working to ensure the movie meets every mark. "It goes through a thousand filters, not to be diplomatic, but because everyone's going to add something different. That's why the movies play so well because they hit every single mark because nothing has been missed."

Fans of the franchise will be excited to learn that visual development art from "Frozen 3" was unveiled in August 2024, providing a glimpse of what's to come. The art shows Elsa, voiced by Idina Menzel, on a white horse, and Anna on a brown stag. The highly anticipated sequel is expected to hit theaters in 2027.

The first "Frozen" film premiered in 2013, followed by the sequel "Frozen II" six years later. Both movies, set in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle, were critical and commercial successes, with the original winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
