Set against the stark volcanic vistas of the Aubrac plateau, a French mystery thriller unfolds in the wake of a dramatic solar eclipse. The celestial event serves as a catalyst, exposing hidden tensions and dark secrets within a seemingly tranquil rural community.
The central incident involves 17-year-old Luca, who accidentally shoots his girlfriend, Nour, during the eclipse. This crime ignites old wounds and brings bitter rivalries to the surface.
Investigating the case are gendarmes Johanna and Manue, lifelong friends whose chemistry is evident. However, their professional duty is complicated by Manue's personal connection; she is Luca's mother. This familial tie places immense pressure on her, testing her resolve as she navigates the investigation while trying to protect her son.
The six-episode series also offers a glimpse into the challenging world inhabited by the young protagonists, adding a sobering layer to the unfolding drama.
