The festival will commence with the anticipated New York premiere of François Ozon's 'The Stranger,' an adaptation of Albert Camus's classic novel.
The festival's carefully curated selection features works from both established auteurs and promising new voices in French filmmaking. Many of these films have previously garnered acclaim at major international festivals such as Cannes, Venice, and Locarno. Highlights of the festival include Julia Ducournau's 'Alpha,' Olivier Assayas's 'The Wizard of the Kremlin' starring Jude Law, and Dominik Moll's 'Case 137.'
