- Early login advised; servers fill quickly before the event.
- Chaos Cutlasses Pickaxe and Bark Voyager Sidekick are rewards.
Fortnite's Chapter 7 Season 2 live event, Shattered, is now underway, offering players a groundbreaking dual-reality experience. This season finale uniquely divides players into two factions, Team Foundation and Team Ice King, with each group witnessing different story developments and battle objectives in real-time. The event began tonight, June 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM ET, with server access opening 40 minutes prior to prevent capacity issues.
Players who log in will have the opportunity to earn exclusive in-game cosmetics. The Chaos Cutlasses Pickaxe is awarded to all attendees, while the Bark Voyager Sidekick is given to parties that include at least one friend. Both rewards are set to appear in players' lockers with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 3 on June 6, 2026. The technical achievement of delivering distinct event versions to players in the same lobby highlights Epic Games' advanced server infrastructure, which relies on Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes.
