Former Marine Battles PTSD to Save Spring Breakers from Cartel Killers

As of November 17th, 2025, a new thriller is currently in production in Spain, centered around a 25-year-old former marine who must confront his debilitating PTSD to save his friends from a group of cartel killers who have taken over their spring break resort.

The film, which is being produced by Thunder Road and Mike Gabrawy, follows the young protagonist as he is forced to tap into his military training and overcome his crushing trauma to protect his loved ones from the cartel's deadly takeover. The story promises to be a gripping and suspenseful exploration of the challenges faced by those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

The lead actor, who recently starred in the Screen Gems horror-romantic comedy "Heart Eyes" that premiered on Valentine's Day 2025, is set to take on this challenging role. He will soon be seen in other high-profile projects, including Gregg Araki's "I Want Your Sex" opposite Olivia Wilde and the Netflix thriller "72 Hours" alongside Kevin Hart. The actor is also known for his work in the acclaimed Hulu series "Love, Victor" and the Scream franchise, which is set to return for its seventh installment in February 2026.
