Former 'Grey's Anatomy' Star Praises Nashville's Vibrant Music Scene

In a recent interview, actor Chris O'Donnell, who played a love interest on 'Grey's Anatomy' in the mid-2000s, shared his thoughts on the new '9-1-1: Nashville' series. O'Donnell, who is part of the '9-1-1' franchise, expressed his admiration for the city of Nashville and its thriving music scene.

The actor, who is 55 years old, noted that he was impressed by the abundance of live music in Nashville's restaurants and bars. He described walking through the city's airport and being surrounded by live performances in every eatery, and being amazed by the "honky tonks" on Broadway, which he said are "10 feet wide, they're three stories high, and every floor has a live band."

O'Donnell acknowledged the incredible talent in Nashville, but also the difficulty of breaking into the industry. He said, "There's so many talented people that will never get that chance." The 'Batman & Robin' star emphasized the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry, where even the best writers, directors, and actors don't always guarantee a hit.

As '9-1-1: Nashville' prepares to premiere, O'Donnell shared his approach to the new series, stating that all an actor can do is work hard and stay focused, as the rest is out of their control. The show is the third installment in the '9-1-1' franchise, following the original series set in Los Angeles and '9-1-1: Lone Star' in Austin, Texas.
