Reality TV Star Battles Bone Cancer Diagnosis After Divorce

According to an upcoming memoir by former 'Golden Bachelor' star Turner, the 74-year-old reality TV personality faced a difficult period after his divorce from wife Theresa Nist in April 2024. In an excerpt obtained by TMZ, Turner admitted that he briefly considered ending his life due to the public backlash surrounding the split, though he ultimately decided against it for the sake of his two daughters.

Just months later, in December 2024, Turner announced he had been diagnosed with an "incurable" and "slow-growing" form of bone cancer. However, he has remained optimistic about his health, stating in April 2025 that he feels "great" and is on a six-month monitoring schedule. The doctor has even told him that he expects Turner to live at least a couple more years.

Despite the challenges, Turner has found love again. In October 2025, he announced on Instagram that he is engaged to his new partner, Lana Sutton, whom he started dating earlier that year. "I found my perfect match and she said 'YES'," Turner wrote, sharing photos of the couple by the beach.
