30 Sep
Summary
- Foo Fighters will play a rescheduled AC/DC concert on Oct. 2.
- The gig was postponed due to a nor'easter storm.
- Dave Grohl considers sharing a stage with AC/DC a dream come true.

Foo Fighters are set to perform with legendary rock band AC/DC again on October 2nd at MetLife Stadium. This follows a rescheduling of their initial October 2nd gig, which was postponed due to a nor'easter storm. The opportunity, originally a 'one night only' event, now presents a double chance for fans to see the two bands together.
This rare collaboration comes after Foo Fighters opened for AC/DC on September 8th in St. Louis. Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl described this previous performance as a 'dream come true,' recounting how AC/DC's 1980 concert film 'Let There Be Rock' profoundly impacted his musical journey at age eleven.
Many other major events, including festivals and concerts, were also canceled or postponed due to the severe storm. These included the Global Citizen Festival, CBGB Festival, All Things Go festivals in New York, the Oceans Calling Festival in Maryland, and two Ed Sheeran concerts in Massachusetts.
