Connolly's most notable works include the breathtaking floral designs for the 2011 wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales and the 2023 coronation of the King and Queen. For the royal wedding, he created a verdant, tree-lined aisle within Westminster Abbey, reflecting the couple's love for the English countryside.
His floral expertise extended to the 2005 blessing of the then Prince of Wales and the then Duchess of Cornwall, as well as their 2023 coronation. Connolly has also designed arrangements for royal funerals and has been awarded royal warrants by the King and Queen in 2024.
