The album, largely recorded in February 2025, explores themes of civil war, peace, and love. It boasts collaborations with artists such as Thom Yorke and Nick Cave, alongside interpretations of songs by Frank Ocean and George Clinton.
Flea assembled a skilled team for the recording, including producer Josh Johnson and musicians Jeff Parker, Anna Butterss, and Deantoni Parks. He also enlisted contributions from Mauro Refosco and Warren Ellis.
Recently, Flea performed "Thinkin Bout You" live on The Tonight Show, sharing his enthusiasm for the learning process involved in returning to the trumpet. He also visited his native Australia last month, attending a Sydney Kings game and hosting an intimate listening party.
