Twigs has reignited a lawsuit against her former partner, Shia LaBeouf, alleging that he has been attempting to intimidate her into silence and extort funds. Twigs's Coachella performance is part of her ongoing Body High Tour, supporting her 2025 albums, 'Eusexua' and 'Eusexua Afterglow.' This follows a last-minute cancellation of her North American tour and Coachella appearance the previous year due to visa issues.

Her legal actions against LaBeouf stem from a previous settlement in July 2025 regarding a sexual battery lawsuit filed in 2020. Twigs stated her current litigation aims to address wrongs and support other victims of sexual and domestic violence who lack resources to speak out against predators.

LaBeouf has faced his own legal troubles, including arrests for misdemeanor battery in New Orleans earlier in 2026. These incidents occurred shortly before his plans to travel to Rome for his father's baptism, for which he received judicial permission.
