Summary
- Five Nights at Freddy's 2 opened to $29.8 million domestically.

The post-Thanksgiving box office saw a strong performance from "Five Nights at Freddy's 2," which debuted at number one with $29.8 million from over 3,400 theaters. Projections indicate a domestic opening weekend of $56.5 million, significantly surpassing initial forecasts. The film’s low $36 million budget suggests a swift return to profitability for Universal and Blumhouse.
Following its success, Disney's "Zootopia 2" secured the second position, with an estimated $45 million weekend haul. This marks a considerable decrease from its record-breaking $98 million opening last weekend, yet its $559 million global debut previously secured multiple box office records.
Other notable releases included "Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution" in third place with approximately $4.9 million on Friday, and "Wicked: For Good" earning $4.5 million. Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" also garnered attention, grossing an estimated $1.4 million.
