The popular CBS drama Fire Country premiered in October 2022 and is now entering its fourth season as of November 2025. The show has already expanded its universe with the launch of a spinoff series, Sheriff Country, which debuted on October 17, 2025.
Fire Country follows the story of Bode Donovan, a young convict who returns to his hometown of Edgewater, California, after volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program in an effort to shorten his prison sentence. There, he is forced to confront his past, including his parents, Vince and Sharon Leone, played by Billy Burke and Diane Farr.
Tragically, Vince Leone died during the shocking season 4 premiere, after being unable to escape a burning memory care unit. Despite his on-screen demise, Burke has learned valuable lessons about parenting from portraying the character. "The most honorable or noble characteristics of Vince's that I probably personally might struggle with, are the ones," he told Nerds & Beyond in October 2024. "He's got that sort of innate, undying protector guy in him, which I didn't grow up with and now have only really developed as a father."
From the cast's own children to the show's expanding universe, Fire Country continues to captivate audiences as it enters its fourth season and beyond.
