Fiona Apple Drops New Song for Apple TV+ Series

Fiona Apple has released a new song, "Horns of a Bull," serving as the theme for the Apple TV+ miniseries "Lucky," which began streaming on July 15, 2026. The track features a brooding, urgent sound with notable percussion, echoing elements of her previous album, Fetch the Bolt Cutters.

The miniseries "Lucky" is an adaptation of Marissa Stapley's 2021 novel and stars Anya Taylor-Joy as a con artist evading federal authorities and a crime boss, with Annette Bening also in a key role. This marks a significant musical contribution from Apple since her 2020 album.

In recent times, Apple has contributed to various projects, including a benefit song for pretrial detention reform and a cover for a Neil Young tribute album. She has also collaborated with The Waterboys. Despite her tendency to stay private, Apple recently expressed her creative block, finding it difficult to write about current global events.
