Finn Wolfhard, now 23, has humorously declared his departure from his child star status. Wolfhard, who began his acting career at 12 when Stranger Things premiered, emphasized his new adult identity. He celebrated having facial hair and even a taste for alcohol, though he demonstrated his aversion to its spiciness by spitting out a drink offered by a castmate. He declared, 'meet the new me. The man me. Because I'm not a kid anymore.'

Joining him, co-stars Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin echoed his sentiment, asserting their status as 'former child stars.'
