3 Mar
Summary
- The Finder was a spin-off of the popular show Bones.
- It aired in 2012, 13 episodes before cancellation.
- The show struggled to capitalize on Bones' success.

The television series "The Finder," a spin-off of the established hit "Bones," premiered in 2012. "Bones," known for its blend of crime-solving and character romance, had been a consistent performer for Fox since its 2006 debut.
"The Finder" originated from a backdoor pilot in the sixth season of "Bones." It featured Major Walter Sherman, an Army veteran whose brain injury gave him an extraordinary knack for finding lost objects. Initially supported by his manager Leo Knox and pilot Ike, Sherman's adventures unfolded in the Florida Everglades.
When "The Finder" transitioned to its own series, U.S. Marshal Isabel Zambada and hacker Willa Monday joined the cast, replacing Ike. Despite its mid-season debut, the show only lasted 13 episodes. Fox ultimately canceled "The Finder" because it failed to leverage the audience of its parent show, "Bones," and did not meet viewership expectations.
