Bloodlines Smashes Box Office Records

Horror has found a major hit at the 2025 summer box office with "Final Destination Bloodlines." As the first installment in the franchise in 14 years, the film capitalized on significant audience anticipation. Directors Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky helmed the project, which debuted to an estimated $51 million domestically and an additional $51 million overseas.

This performance secured "Bloodlines" the largest opening for a horror film in 2025, outperforming Ryan Coogler's "Sinners." It also shattered previous franchise records, far exceeding the opening of "The Final Destination" in 2009. With a production budget of $50 million, the film is a substantial financial success for Warner Bros. and New Line.
