Filmmaker Mansoor Khan, son of veteran director Nasir Hussain, recently revealed his decision to step away from a life in cinema for a more unconventional path. Known for directing popular films such as 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', Khan pursued a lifelong desire to leave urban surroundings.
His quest for tranquility led him to Mandwa in 1991, but government land acquisition for an airport disrupted these plans. By 2003, he relocated to Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, embracing its natural beauty.
In Coonoor, Khan established Acres Wild, an organic cheese-making farm, operating it for nearly twenty years. He found this lifestyle deeply fulfilling, surrounded by diverse wildlife.
Between 2010 and 2022, Khan and his wife Tina also managed a farm stay. This allowed him to engage with visitors, sharing his love for music and teaching cheese-making, with Tina instructing around 250 individuals.
