Filmmaker Ghosh Starts "Familywala" Shoot

Filmmaker Suman Ghosh officially began principal photography for his upcoming feature film, "Familywala," on Wednesday. This new project is described as a comedy-family drama, aiming to deliver a heartwarming narrative centered on everyday relationships.

The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, with Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Swastika Mukherjee taking on pivotal roles, supported by talented actors Sudipta Chakraborty and Anushua Mazumder. Their collective versatility is expected to bring depth to the story's exploration of family dynamics.

Director Suman Ghosh expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating his desire for Shiboprosad Mukherjee's role to highlight the actor's strengths. Ghosh hopes "Familywala" will resonate with viewers through its simplicity and emotional honesty.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee shared his personal connection to the film, noting that its inception in December 2024 marked a special phase. He expressed that working under another director's vision after many years, on a role he deems a "lifetime character," is a significant honor.
