Choreographer Vijay Ganguly shared insights into the making and reception of a recent four-hour film, noting its success stemmed from a deliberate focus on narrative depth over visual grandeur. Ganguly expressed his surprise and delight at audiences remaining fully engaged throughout the lengthy runtime, a testament to the film's compelling storytelling. He recounted instances of audience members shouting patriotic slogans, indicating a powerful emotional connection.

The deliberate exclusion of a celebratory song, unlike the previous installment, was a conscious decision. Ganguly explained that the sequel's narrative, centered on revenge, maintained a constant tension, leaving no natural space for a song. Forcing a track would have disrupted the film's intense atmosphere and was thus avoided, aligning with the director's vision for organic storytelling.

Director Aditya Dhar's unwavering commitment to narrative honesty was crucial to the film's unconventional strategy, which included minimal promotions. Ganguly lauded Dhar's clarity, patience, and trust in his technicians, describing the filmmaking process as a masterclass in conviction. This approach, he believes, is redefining how films are presented and perceived in an era dominated by short-form content.

Ganguly also praised actor Ranveer Singh's performance, particularly his restraint in the first part and his powerful portrayal in the sequel, highlighting his consistent ability to transform himself.
