The production house behind the recently released film 'Karuppu' has formally apologized to the renowned music composer Ilaiyaraaja. The apology stems from a specific dialogue featured in the movie that reportedly caused concern and upset the legendary artist. The filmmakers emphasized that their intention was never to disrespect Ilaiyaraaja or his contributions.
In a statement shared on social media, the team explained that the dialogue was part of a broader satirical context and not intended as a personal remark. They expressed deep respect for Ilaiyaraaja, acknowledging his global influence and the inspiration drawn from his work.
