Summary

- The duo announced a hiatus in 2022 to pursue solo projects.
- Both artists expressed a desire to repair their friendship.

Country music duo Florida Georgia Line, comprised of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, is currently focusing on rebuilding their brotherhood before considering new music. The musicians, who co-founded FGL in 2010 and released four studio albums, announced an indefinite hiatus in 2022 to explore solo careers.
Kelley recently shared on the "Country Outdoors" podcast that their friendship is their top priority, suggesting that any future music would be a natural progression of their repaired bond. Hubbard echoed these sentiments in December 2025 on the "Human School" podcast, emphasizing his desire to reconnect with Kelley, his former bandmate and friend.
Both artists have since released solo projects, with Kelley's "Sunshine State Of Mind" in 2021 and Hubbard's self-titled debut in 2023, followed by "Strong" in 2024. They have communicated that the reasons for their split were not due to a "good guy, bad guy" scenario but rather individual convictions and passions, with both ultimately accepting the decisions made.
