Colombian artist Feid has released his highly anticipated EP, 'FEID VS. FERXXO,' on Thursday, March 19. This project is the first installment of a planned four-part album, stemming from a period of intense personal and professional reflection for the artist. Feid explains that being alone in the studio allowed him to shift his perspective on melodies and production, leading to a more collaborative effort on this EP.
The seven-track EP, 'FEID VS. FERXXO,' presents a fascinating duality, distinguishing between Feid's chill reggae tunes and romantic boleros, and Ferxxo's progressive Afrohouse beats and hard-hitting perreos. Feid emphasizes that his songwriting process determines which persona a track embodies, reflecting his audience's desires. This release also marks a significant milestone as it's the debut under his own record label, Grabaciones Los Poderosos, ensuring full ownership of his music.
