The "Fear Factor" franchise is venturing into new territory with a scripted horror series, marking a first for the platform and the network. This adaptation is the first scripted version of the unscripted "Fear Factor" and the inaugural horror series for the My Drama platform.
The new vertical series, set to premiere exclusively on My Drama, will comprise 30 episodes, each three minutes long. The narrative unfolds on a remote horror television set during prep week, where a practical effects artist and her crew inadvertently activate a haunted fortune-telling machine.
This machine subjects them to personalized death trials, compelling survivors to discover its tragic origins before it endangers their loved ones. Fox Entertainment Studios and Endemol Shine North America are producing the series, with worldwide distribution handled by FOX Entertainment Global. A release date has not yet been announced.
