FBI season 9 is set to premiere on Monday, October 5, 2026, picking up directly after the cliffhanger ending of season 8. The storyline will focus on Omar Adom "OA" Zidan, played by Zeeko Zaki, whose apparent firing was a crucial part of an elaborate undercover operation.
OA refused to partake in a cover-up related to an NSA bioweapon leak, leading to his dismissal. However, showrunner Mike Weiss confirmed this was a strategic move involving Special Agent Maggie Bell, portrayed by Missy Peregrym, and Isobel Castille, played by Alana De La Garza.
Fans will see OA embedded within Anna Vorpe's operation. Weiss hinted that the rest of the team will be brought into the loop early in season 9. Both Zeeko Zaki and Missy Peregrym are confirmed to return, along with the rest of the main cast, including De La Garza, John Boyd, Juliana Aidén Martinez, and Jeremy Sisto.
The series will air Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Past seasons are also available on Paramount+.
