- Special Agent Bill Goodman teams up with CIA Agent Colin Glass.
- Executive producer discusses the strategic benefits of character crossovers.

The FBI Universe is set to feature more cross-office collaborations, notably with Jeremy Sisto appearing in the CIA series premiere on February 23. Alana De La Garza and Missy Peregrym from FBI will also guest star on CIA, while Necar Zadegan's CIA character will visit the FBI.
In the new CBS series CIA, FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman partners with CIA Agent Colin Glass on a clandestine task force. Their work involves covert operations in New York, uncovering plots and secrets to keep America safe.
Executive producer Mike Weiss explained that these crossovers are "good, clean fun" and reflect real-world inter-agency cooperation. He emphasized that the collaborations expand the universe of both shows, showing agents working within the same shared reality in the same city.
Weiss also commented on the "Odd Couple" dynamic between Bill and Colin, noting how the actors' chemistry brings their contrasting personalities to life. He expressed curiosity about the possibility of characters from now-ended FBI shows returning, but clarified that any new appearances would be as their original FBI characters.
