Vertical has secured North American rights to the action-thriller "Father Joe," starring Kiefer Sutherland, Ever Anderson, Michael Rispoli, and Al Pacino. "Father Joe" is set in Manhattan's Little Italy, where Sutherland portrays a priest waging a secret war against crime syndicates. As he delves deeper into the underworld, he must forge alliances and cross boundaries to protect those in need.
The movie reunites Besson with his "Dracula" crew, including cinematographer Colin Wandersman and editor Lucas Fabiani. Besson's previous film, "Dracula," achieved significant success at the North American box office for Vertical in 2025.
Director Barthélémy Grossmann expressed excitement about the cast's energy, while Vertical Partner Peter Jarowey highlighted the film's adrenaline-fueled nature and the cast's intense performances, anticipating a strong reception for the thriller.
