Farah Khan Shares Challenges of Spouse Accompanying Her to Industry Events

In a recent interview, renowned filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has shared insights into the early challenges she and her husband, Shirish Kunder, faced in their marriage. According to Farah, Shirish often felt uncomfortable accompanying her to social gatherings due to the attention she received as a successful industry figure.

Farah explained that at these events, people would frequently ignore her husband and focus solely on her, which led to numerous fights between the couple. "Not just the industry, the world is full of a*****, so they will always hone in on the person who is more successful at that point, so they will only talk to me and ignore my husband, and I didn't like that, and he didn't either," Farah said.

Over time, the couple learned to respect each other's boundaries and prioritize their happiness rather than public appearances. "So after a point, we came to an agreement that if you are uncomfortable coming out with this set of people, then don't come. I want him to be happy and at peace," Farah shared.

Farah and Shirish, who first met when he edited her directorial debut "Main Hoon Na" in the early 2000s, have been married since 2004 and have collaborated on several projects, including "Jaan-E-Mann," "Om Shanti Om," and "Tees Maar Khan." The couple has also welcomed triplets - Diva, Anya, and Czar - in 2008.
