Fantasy Epic 'Mirai' Prepares for Streaming Debut in October

The action-adventure film 'Mirai' is gearing up for its digital premiere after a successful theatrical run. Directed and cinematographed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film is set to stream on OTT platforms from October 10, 2025.

'Mirai' is a fantasy-adventure tale that follows the journey of Vedha, played by Teja Sajja. Vedha's life changes when he develops feelings for a sanyasi named Vibha and learns that he is part of an ancient prophecy to save the world. The prophecy states that a 'Super Yodha' must rise to protect Emperor Ashoka's nine sacred scriptures, which hold ultimate power. With the villain Mahabir Lama, also known as 'The Black Sword', trying to steal the scriptures, Vedha must train to become a hero and protect them.

The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Shriya Saran. Since its release on September 12, 'Mirai' ran in theaters for over 21-24 days and collected over ₹92 crore in India. The movie had a remarkable global run, grossing over ₹141 crore worldwide, before facing competition from big releases like Pawan Kalyan's 'OG' and Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara: Chapter 1'.
