Fans Interact with Holographic Stan Lee at L.A. Comic Con

In a heartwarming tribute to the late Marvel icon, attendees of the 2025 L.A. Comic Con were able to engage with a holographic version of Stan Lee. The 1,500-square-foot Stan Lee Experience booth featured an AI-powered avatar of the legendary comic book creator, allowing fans to ask questions and receive real-time responses.

The hologram, referred to as "Holo Stan," addressed each fan by name and shared his iconic enthusiasm for the Marvel universe. When asked about the "X-Men" legacy and its ties to the civil rights movement, the hologram provided thoughtful insights, showcasing Lee's enduring impact on popular culture. Attendees also inquired about which superhero Lee would choose to save the world, to which he enthusiastically responded: Spider-Man.

"For decades I had the thrill of spinning yarns about heroes and villains in that mighty Marvel manner," the hologram said. "But the real heroes have always been you, the fans, whose excitement kept those stories alive." Lee's spirit and passion for connecting with his fanbase were palpable throughout the interactive experience.

The Stan Lee Experience was created through a partnership between Hyperreal, Proto Hologram, and the Stan Lee Universe, with the goal of preserving the legendary creator's legacy and allowing fans to continue the conversation he started decades ago.
