Family's Future Hinges on Mom's Final Wish

The De Angelis family is navigating profound change following the death of their matriarch, Beverly. Without her guidance, the family has begun to drift apart, struggling to manage their complicated lives.

However, Beverly, in her characteristic fashion, has orchestrated a way to continue influencing events from beyond the grave. For the family to experience her final creation, they must make a concerted effort to stay connected and support one another through upcoming life challenges.

Amidst this, individual family members are stepping into new roles. Leo, the newly widowed patriarch, finds himself unexpectedly taking on the primary parenting responsibilities. His children also face personal growth: Liz inherits her mother's storytelling gift but grapples with self-worth and a penchant for chaos, while her sibling Cooper and the eldest daughter Kate embody their mother's perfectionism and organizational skills, respectively.

Daniel Minahan is directing the pilot episode of this production, which is being executive produced by Berlanti, Doran, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, and Robbie Rogers. Warner Bros. Television is the studio behind the project.
