Fallout 5 Anxiety: Bethesda Confirms More Fallout Games Ahead

Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios has openly discussed the "anxiety" surrounding the highly anticipated Fallout 5. He reassured fans that despite the long wait, the Fallout franchise remains a priority, with several projects currently in development. Howard reflected on the ongoing evolution of Fallout 76, noting its continuous improvement over the past six to seven years since its initial launch. He emphasized that each Fallout installment aims to offer a distinct experience, fostering diverse fan preferences for different titles.

Regarding future releases, Howard stated that the majority of Bethesda's internal team is focused on The Elder Scrolls 6. Consequently, Fallout 5 is slated to launch only after The Elder Scrolls 6, placing it significantly further down the development timeline. Despite the extended wait for Fallout 5, Howard hinted that other unannounced Fallout-related projects are also in progress, suggesting a continued commitment to the beloved post-apocalyptic series.
