Morgan Fairchild and Jim J. Bullock are reprising their roles on the CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful.
Fairchild will again portray the San Francisco socialite Dottie, while Bullock steps back into the role of Joseph, her assistant. This marks their return to the series 17 years after their initial appearances in 2009.
Their storylines previously did not cross, but as Dottie and Joseph, they are now a duo. Dottie, who first appeared when invited by Stephanie Forrester, will interact with Steffy Forrester. Joseph, Dottie's assistant, meticulously inspects jewelry.
The January 27th episode will feature Dottie and Joseph at a fashion show in San Francisco. They will be seen purchasing a Forrester original jewelry item. This episode also involves Steffy's cousin Electra Forrester and her boyfriend Will Spencer.
Fairchild described Dottie as largely unchanged, emphasizing their role as comic relief. Bullock highlighted the enjoyable experience and the kind treatment from the production team. Both actors praised the supportive environment on set.
Bullock, known for comedy films, also acknowledged the demanding nature of soap opera acting. Fairchild, with a long career starting in 1973, considers soaps an excellent training ground for actors. They are reportedly having significant fun filming their scenes together.
