Summary
- Newly restored version of The Beatles Anthology docuseries coming to Disney+
- Expanded from 8 to 9 episodes, with previously unreleased footage
- Premiering in 3-night streaming event starting November 26, 2025

In November 2025, Disney+ will premiere a newly restored and expanded version of the landmark Beatles Anthology docuseries. The 9-episode series, previously an 8-episode documentary, will air in a 3-night streaming event starting on November 26, 2025, marking the 30th anniversary of the original Anthology's release.
The Anthology was a groundbreaking multimedia history of the Beatles, including the original documentary, a 4-volume album set, and a book. The newly restored version will feature previously unreleased footage of the surviving Beatles members - Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the late George Harrison - as they put together the original Anthology project. The restoration and sound mixing was overseen by Apple Corps and done by the technicians at Peter Jackson's Park Road Post in Wellington, New Zealand.
The final episode of the expanded Anthology series will be directed by Oliver Murray, while the previous 8 episodes were directed by Geoff Wonfor, Bob Smeaton, and Matt Longfellow. The new Anthology joins a slate of other Beatles-related films and series available on Disney+, including Get Back, Let It Be, and Beatles '64.
