Ex-Supermodel Exposes Extraterrestrial Cult

Former supermodel Hoyt Richards is sharing his story about Eternal Values, a cult led by Frederick von Mierers, who asserted he was an alien from Arcturus tasked with recruiting human leaders before a prophesied pole shift. Richards, once a prominent figure in modeling, estimates he contributed $4 to $5 million to the cult.

Von Mierers, born Fred Meyers in Brooklyn, built his following by selling personalized psychic readings and gemstones with claimed healing properties. He initially approached Richards at 16, employing flattery and isolating him from peers to exert influence. Richards' career took off after graduating from Princeton, with Von Mierers leveraging his connections.

The cult gained significant traction after a 1985 book corroborated Von Mierers' alien claims. Richards noted that the group's business grew, attracting international interest. Within the cult, Von Mierers manipulated members' behavior, initially enforcing celibacy before later instructing them to engage in sexual relationships.

After Von Mierers died from Aids-related complications, Richards remained involved until 1999, eventually escaping with help from fellow model Fabio Lanzoni. Now 64, Richards seeks to educate others about the dangers of 'cultic relationships,' emphasizing the importance of questioning individuals who excessively shower others with attention or flattery. A documentary series, 'Bring Me the Beauties: A Model Cult,' and an upcoming biopic are shedding light on this experience.
