This controversy emerges as production for Paul's show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has been paused. Both Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, are reportedly facing an open domestic assault investigation by the Draper City Police Department. Allegations have been made in both directions, with police confirming contact with involved parties in late February. This marks Paul's second legal issue, following a 2023 arrest for aggravated assault.
