Rapper and singer-songwriter Everlast, widely known for the late 1990s hit "What It's Like," has entered a new record deal with Thirty Tigers, in partnership with Regime Music Group. The initial release under this agreement, titled "Stones," became available on March 13. The artist shared that "Stones" is a narrative about "culpability and regret," charting a course from "self loathing to self healing and forgiveness."
Earlier in 2026, Everlast collaborated with WLPWR to release "Blood on the Wheel," an anthem critical of ICE. David Macias, co-founder of Thirty Tigers, highlighted Everlast's significant creative impact and commercial success, emphasizing his dedication to his working-class fanbase.
Everlast, born Erik Francis Schrody, initially gained fame as the frontman for the hip-hop group House of Pain, known for their 1992 chart success with "Jump Around." As a solo artist, he has released eight albums, including the successful "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues." He has received four Grammy nominations and secured one win for his collaboration with Santana on "Put Your Lights On."
