Actress details ongoing fear after Manson allegations

Actress Evan Rachel Wood has revealed that she is still subjected to harassment years after making allegations of sexual abuse and grooming against her former partner, Marilyn Manson. Wood described the environment surrounding Manson as operating "very much like a cult," with his associates monitoring her actions.

In a recent interview, Wood detailed persistent surveillance, including being followed by cars, and ongoing attempts to compromise her computer security. These incidents underscore the fear and intimidation she claims to have experienced since publicly sharing her accusations in 2021.

Wood's allegations against Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, center on grooming that began when she was a teenager. She has stated that he controlled many aspects of her life, including her sleep, diet, and clothing, with his assistants providing him with updates on her activities.

Manson has denied these claims, asserting that his intimate relationships were always consensual. Wood first shared her accusations on Instagram but was unable to pursue legal charges due to statute of limitations. She previously testified before Congress in 2018 regarding sexual assault survivors' rights.
