Eva Grover: 18-Day Romance Led to Abusive Marriage

Actress Eva Grover has revealed the harrowing details of her marriage to Hyder Ali Khan, the step-brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan. Their relationship began with a whirlwind 18-day courtship, leading to an elopement and marriage against her mother's wishes. Grover stated that she married too quickly, not truly knowing her husband.

Soon after the wedding, Grover discovered her husband's severe anger issues and aggressive behavior, which escalated to physical violence. She endured this abuse for five years before deciding to leave. The birth of their daughter, after four years of marriage, did not improve the situation, and Grover reached her breaking point within a month of the child's arrival.

With support from colleagues and her mother, Grover managed to leave the abusive marriage. She also acknowledged the support from her former father-in-law, Tahir Hussain, and mother-in-law, Shahnaz, during her difficult times.
