Euphoria's Angel: From Dancer to Rehab

In the current season of Euphoria, Priscilla Delgado portrays Angel, a dancer whose life spirals into addiction following a friend's overdose. Initially unaware of her friend Tish's fate, Angel becomes increasingly suspicious, a situation that alarms her employer, Alamo.

Rue, now working for Alamo, eventually reveals Tish's overdose to Angel, triggering a severe emotional crisis and descent into addiction. This storyline places Rue in a caretaker role, as she personally escorts Angel to a rehabilitation facility.

Delgado prepared for the role by engaging in deep conversations about substance abuse with friends who have personal experience, fostering empathy and understanding. She also drew inspiration from various media and observed the dynamics within Los Angeles strip clubs.

On set, Delgado found Zendaya to be a supportive mentor, helping her navigate the pressures of joining the highly anticipated season. The collaboration allowed for natural on-screen chemistry, particularly in scenes requiring intense emotional delivery, such as when Angel throws a shoe at Rue.
