The wait for HBO's "Euphoria" is nearing its end, with the third season scheduled for an April 2026 release, over four years since its last new episodes. This new chapter will jump forward five years from the events of Season 2, promising significant shifts for its core characters. Creator Sam Levinson revealed Rue will be in Mexico, facing debt to Laurie and seeking innovative repayment methods.
Fans can expect to see Cassie and Nate engaged and living in the suburbs, with plans for a lavish wedding. Jules will be attending art school, while Maddy pursues a career as a talent agent in Hollywood, and Lexi takes on a role as a showrunner's assistant. The season will feature returning cast members alongside several new additions.
However, the upcoming season will see some familiar faces absent, including Barbie Ferreira as Kat Hernandez and Storm Reid as Rue's sister, Gia. Tragically, Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, will also not be part of Season 3 following his passing in 2023. A multitude of new actors are set to join the expanding cast.
