Cult Escapee in Colombian Jungle Action Thriller

An action-thriller series titled "The Escape" centers on the son of a religious cult leader who flees the isolated community but must leave his wife and child behind. He finds an unlikely ally in Carmeli, an ex-Mossad operative, as they plot to bring his family to safety. Their rescue attempt ignites a conflict when they uncover a dangerous alliance between the cult and a drug cartel.

The eight-episode series, "Ha'Bricha" in Hebrew, was filmed in Colombia, Georgia, and Israel. It features Yehuda Levi as Carmeli and Ido Tako as the cult escapee Yoel. Naya Bienstock plays Yoel's wife Feigy, and Mark Ivanir portrays his father, the cult's charismatic leader. The show is created and written by Ariel Cohen, with direction by Yoav and Doron Paz.
